I have 2 Samson SR850 headphones which both suffered the same problem. The cable cracked right behind the headphone jack. Now I have inherited a soldering iron from my dad but unfortunately run into too much thumbs myself. I also ordered replacemend 3 pole jacks fron RS Online.
I was wondering if there maybe someone in Pretoria East (Moreleta Park vicinity) who can help me out with this. Should be a doddle for a hobbyist. I don't realy know what to offer for this job; maybe a good bottle of red or a case of the brown stuff?
