Hi everyone,

I think this is my first post?

I recently bought an AV receiver and speaker package, and just had them set up in the correct positions.  I have been playing around with the settings for the last few days, but I know someone who does AV system setups for a living.  He will come and set up everything soon, then hopefully he will answer most of these questions in any ways :)

I have the following setup:

Samsung 40 " LCD (40A550) http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/Samsung-LN-40A550.htm
Denon AVR 1911 http://denon.co.uk/uk/product/pages/Product-Detail.aspx?Catid=83742842-dc75-4090-b169-b916700fd158&SubId=43eadffa-05fc-430a-a586-b5137428cc5f&ProductId=88ef4801-1a44-47c1-a95b-d4d9cd446121
Jamo S608 HC3 5.0 Speakers http://www.jamo.com/eu-en/products/s-608-hcs-3-description/
Playstation 3
PC connected via Gb LAN, running PS3 Media Server
All connected with decent HDMI1.4 spec cables

Since playing around, I found / struggled with or need to know:

- When playing any source, I only have the option of DTS Neo 6 or Dolby PLII Cinema.  I am playing Terminator Salvation BluRay, which has TrueHD sound.  How do I get the AVR to play TrueHD, or to pick this up?

- My LCD Audio outputs are RCA left/right only, I don't have another audio out option (except for the earphones).  When the television is on and playing through the tv speakers, the video is fine.  As soon as I turn on the AVR, there is interference on the video of all tv channels(terrestrial, don't have satellite).  What could this be?

- Since my speakers and the amplifier supports bi-amping, I decided to give each speaker two channels by connecting them in the correct fashion.  The difference in sound volume is amazing, and the quality is so much better.  The back of the speakers has a connecting plate for if you run them off one channel.  When connecting two channels to each speaker though, you remove the plates then the woofer and mids/tweeters gets their signal filtered (crossover type thingy).  Each speaker has a 10" woofer, and these two fronts now make it sound like I have a subwoofer installed too!  Great success!!!  I would like to know what you all think of this?  I am loving it!

I can't think of anything else right now, but I'll definitely be back to post some more questions once I have them!

Thanks in advance!
Great Forum!
