I'm planning to build some speaker stands for my little MA's - there currently sitting on some Mr P tables. :-[
I think I've got a solid (pun in tended) plan for my stands, but would still like to hear if I'm completely messing it up! ;D
Basic plan:
Solid wood top (hopefully rose wood or something dark)
Bolted to
3x 50mm Mild steel tubing in triangular formation, filled with sand
Bolted to
Granite bottoms (slightly longer and wider than the tops)
These will eventually end up on a carpeted floor so I recon I can make them look cool by adding spikes to the bottom. 8)
Any ideas how that can be fitted to granite?
