Seems like I'm always fixing things in this house :(

When we bought the one bathroom had a leak in the pipes which lead to water getting in behind the walls, we discovered later that instead of fixing it, they just painted over the damp - and replaced the ceiling board. I've now fixed the leak... but need to redo the walls.

The paint job they did was so bad that when the room mists up from the shower, the walls bubble all over... what's going to be the best bet in stripping the walls of paint and redoing it from scratch? I tried my mouse sander - but its slow progress... a belt sander maybe?
