Bought my last cd at Klerksdorp Musica today before it is closing down completely next month. Musica?s business model largely based on cd sales that have declined and continue declining is under pressure and unfortunately the smaller Musica stores I believe will close down as a result. Another conundrum is live show performances of artists and the non sale of cd?s will have to be supplemented by other merchandise, vinyl remains an alternative and that begs the question if local SA pressings will reemerge once more?
