Name this Bee cartoon from the 70s

I grew up in South Africa (now living in the UK) but I remember as a kid in the middle to late 70s going with my dad to the local renting shop to rent out betamax cassettes about a boy who turns into a bee and goes on adventures.

I've tried to find the name to this cartoon but have not had any success.

It might have only been available in South Africa?

Does anyone have any idea the name to this cartoon series?
