No idea about the spot you are referencing.

But. My son's girfriend is vegan. She has been thrilled with the vegan spot at Sunninghill Village. As well as the one at Kyalami on Main. And tho one at the new Polofields shopping centre (only place I know there is Waterfall Arms as they have both a 30m & a 100m range!  :ROFLMAO: )

I have no idea what these places are called, but am sure a google will turn them up. Assuming of course you are in Jozi Northern 'burbs!  :point:

Your son has found a keeper! 😂

I know all the places you are referring to, some are better than the rest (subjective) .

Itís difficult finding places to enjoy a meal with my carnivorous family members, so
I keep looking for the compromise...

About the keeper  :walled: - more seriously - she is though, we'll slowly make her normal!  :ROFLMAO:

Send SO to Polofields. You go to Hussar Grill at Waterfall across the road. Zoom session via mobile! Social distancing etc.  :point:

Or. Reading with a bit of comprehension this time: Send family to Hussar Grill. You go to Polofields!

On a related note - I know a few vegans and whenever they review a vegan restaurant, it seems they never have a bad word to say about them. I don't recall ever hearing a negative story.

Law of averages.

100 steakhouses = 10% are great. 50% are OK, 20% are borderline, 20% are kak.

3 vegan restaurants = they're all OK purely because of the novelty factor!

Daughter is a vegan.  She is a marvellous cook as well and it amazes my wife and I when we go for meals there

Shows it does not need to be boring.   No steamed lentils and carrots

Lexis healthy eatery does not disappoint...we were eating there once a month (when sitting in restaurants wasnít like playing Russian roulette) but we do get 2 for 1 takeaways on mondays often.

As non vegans and someone who comes from hospitality and has eaten many meals at many great & not so great tables, the food they serve at Lexiís is definitely in the upper percentage Iíve eaten

I couldnít agree more @JoziNic . They are one my favorite eateries in JHB. I always leave there satisfied and happy, it is probably because of their vegan cakes  that always seem holler my name .

Ok, so I had the opportunity to visit this establishment.

Got a pizza, which at the price of R99 left me disappointed, I would have even paid more just to see the toppings    Taste was average at best(IMO).

Also got a ďPaniniĒ which tasted much better and really hit the spot.

Venue has that Italian feel and I would definitely try them again.

So you work on a 3 strike?

Strike 1 seems wasn't so OK.

Let us know how the next visit goes? I'll refrain from sending the fruit of my loins with his SO until I get more feedback!
