Here's a stupid question: How do you delete the SBS DB?
Resistance is not futile; it is voltage divided by current (R=V/I)

Assuming you haven't pointed SBS' database to another location:
Code: [Select]
sudo service squeezeboxserver stop
sudo rm /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/*.db
sudo service squeezeboxserver start

Whenever I've had kak with SBS I've tended to do a purge before doing a fresh install (save your prefs file unless you don't mind reconfiguring from scratch):
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get remove --purge squeezeboxserver
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install squeezeboxserver

Cool, thanks! I'm running 7.6.2 now, so let's see how things go.

Verdict?

Well, I've had no problems so far, although I've not done another library rescan again. I'm holding off on that till I get the folder structure organised the way I like.

puddletag can do all the reorganization for you, all you need specify is the pattern and it'll move/ rename incl. all files in affected folders.
