I've just purchased a SOTA Moonebam TT and it was recommended that I use it with a Grado Red cartridge. The cartridge is in line with the budget status of the TT but I was wondering if it would be worthwhile considering any other similarly priced cartridges.
The TT will be connected to a Emotiva USP-1 preamp which has options for both MM and MC. I do not do any critical listening and as such retrieving the last bit of detail from the grooves is not a priority, a broad smile and toe-tapping certainly is though.
