I see that one can get nice desktop computer monitors that are 23" wide, 16x9 full HD, HDMI etc etc for under 2 grand.
Can one of these be used in a home theater arrangement to watch DVDs? I'm assuming the answer is yes, but what's the catch?
OK I realise its not 50", but I'm still using a 4:3 ratio 50cm CRT box TV, so 23" would still be an increase.
