I have an architect friend who is called upon to design a house with an underground movie/music room. He asked some advice, and I was able to give some e.g. not to build a mere 'box', enough conduit for cables etc. and also dedicated power supply for the room from the DB. He is also alerted to try avoid all flat walls and ceiling and design something to dissipate the sound and limit echoes and standing waves. There are no windows as the whole room is to be under ground.
So far, so good, but I am really not an expert.
My take is that he should provide for at least a 11 channel (atmos) AV system, a projector, screen and then also a huge stereo system as that seems to be his client rocks.
Any advice from the forum members which I can pass on?
