will make the flip and turn it around, never had any nose increase yet,
470 has been running without any issues for about 16months now,

It's not really about the noise but more about sucking air and fluid which adds wear on the pump and stop it performing optimally.

Think of a pool pump, not good having air in the mix.

That looks very smart, what fans are you using?

Thank you :) The cooling fans aren't anything special. The Deepcool Gammax cooler came with a RGB fan which I used as a rear exhaust. As a case fan it is actually pretty quiet compared to using it mounted on the CPU cooler. On the CPU cooler I swapped in some old Corsair SP120 (static pressure) fans which was previously used with a water cooling rig which are very quiet, but don't move much air, but the static pressure works with the heatsink. The Corsair 4000D airflow came with 2x AF120 case fans which are pretty ordinary, but I moved the rear mounted fan to the front and with 2x 120mm fans they move enough air to keep things cool. I don't have hard drives to worry about in the bottom so the dual fans are sufficient.

Overall the system is pretty quiet and efficient and won't make any noise even with high CPU load, though the EVGA GPU cooler is noticeable when that kicks in with gaming, but more with a whoosh. I'd love a new GPU, but prices are still too far over MSRP for me to consider an upgrade yet.

Changed my watercooling to hard line, pretty happy with the result.

Also changed the case for an O11 Dynamic XL

I went the opposite, stripped out all my RGB, but cool blue, was my favourite when I had it running...

@Juggy ,what speed are you running on your cpu ?

Also ,please confirm the graphics card you are using?

Questions being asked by my son.Thanks.

Hey, the GPU is an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra, CPU is a Ryzen 9 5950X running stock (3.4GHZ base clock, 4.9GHZ boost) at the moment however I have fixed the vcore at 1.225v to further minimise heat.

I am considering an auto overclock using Ryzen Master but I really don't have the need for extra CPU speed. I did run a few 3DMark Port Royal benchies after pushing quite an aggressive OC on the GPU and a mild one on the CPU.

Top score in Qatar and would be 7th in SA overall.

Thanks @Juggy , appreciated. Will pass it on.

He loves your latest upgrade, pleasantly surprised and would love to have.

My son Dylan is presently overclocking, achieved 102 % rating vs 74% without overclocking the cpu. Uses MSA Seahawk 1080ti.

Thanks again.

Nice, is he overclocking the CPU and GPU?

What CPU does he have?
