Advice on importing Nichicon cap kit
« on: September 24, 2020, 01:01:53 PM »

Hi all. I have finally found a Pioneer SA-9100 in great condition.

Once recieved I will send it to Nilam to give it a good once over.

In the event that I want to have it recapped I have found the below kit. I have never imported something before and need some guidance as to how I would get this to SA

https://www.audio-high-store.com/product/pioneer-sa-9100-upgrade-kit-audio-capacitors/

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

It says it ships worldwide?
Register with Paypal for extra protection in case you do not receive your order.

If they are not prepared to ship to SA, I would use Aramex Global Shopper. https://www.aramexglobalshopper.com/en/home

Please do NOT use the South African Post Office, use a courier option only.

In most cases if free or included shipping is not specified as a specific carrier itís likely post.

Donít.

Try RS electronics. They are in Midrand/ Kyalami. They have a branch in the UK and I have sourced lots of electronic components from them
