I love music - analog and digital. Even listening to the Blues makes me happy. During the day I coach and counsel, after hours I indulge in my second passion - listening to vinyl and restoring turntables. Some I keep, some I sell...

You don't see many of those old Sansui or Pioneer receivers around here, pity it's not one of their big guns.

AT 95e on special again on Takealot!
Has anyone here tried the Takealot stock of these ? I ask because this model is also made in China aside from being made in Japan and others here would know where else its made, and if any sonic differences ? What did Takealot ship to you ....China or Japan or other?  Secondly, is the EX version really better than the E.... read the reviews, but really want to hear from those who have experienced n compared them here. Thanks.

Rumour has it AT recently set up a new stylus plant and there are some differences on the new 95e stylus vs the older production.

I have only a b e and ex in ClearAudio bodies and I prefer the ex.  Itís clearer and more open to me.  Closer to the real ClearAudio stylus if still not quite as good.

Ahh I misread as a Q8, not Q7. Still a good price though.
