One of the places I like to go to window shop.

And when a salesman approaches I tell him to ignore me  "I am just here to admire the things I can't afford..."

Nice ... Those 7xx B&W look good !

I've been treated so badly by the salespeople on the store, I actually didn't go to it or buy anything for years and years and years. I felt so strongly, I mailed the owner who didn't bother coming back to me either

Wow if not mistaken that's one of Schalk's first batch of predators.
Time to get back to when I enjoyed listening......no more upgrading, more of a headache than a pleasure

Is there a significant difference between the older models and the newer ones in terms of power and sound quality?

Sansui amp. Needs attention. No price mentioned, but worth checking out.

I'd we a tad wary - seems he owns/operates a repair centre, yet he doesn't want to repair this unit?

Also - someone needs to show him where to find the CAPS LOCK Key.....  :nutter:

You would be right to be wary. He recons he does not have 2-3 days to waste repairing the pre section of the amp. He (Colin Williams) is clearly an incompetent technician who can only handle the easy fixes. I asked him if he was able to fix a mosfet based power amp for me. He wanted to know if it had been worked on before as he does not like to touch items that have been worked on before. He finally said that I should pay him R1000 (his daily rate) and he would spend a day on my amp. If he managed to fix it, great. If not, I would be out a R1000 and he may possibly have caused more damage to my amp. What a dickhead.

10 NAD amps !

Anyone have deal with this guy? He is selling 10 different NAD amps, but each pictures with different background, that just doesn't make any sense to me.
