Funny thing is that it is the same bloke that is selling this one: http://capetown-westerncape.gumtree.co.za/c-Stuff-for-Sale-tv-audio-music-thorens-turntable-W0QQAdIdZ323072237

or should I say NOT selling it... The player has been up for months now... sometimes he comes down in price. I see he is back up in price again...  ;D

Here is a lekker "Gerrad" springbok hits player...

That arm! It's so wrong and mismatched to the 301. How did that pair get together ?

In the 100s of 1000s, both 301 and 401. However, since they were not taken seriously by the HiFi community for the first couple of decades, most of them ended up in landfills, well before they achieved the cult status. Ain't that a shame? :'(

Have to agree, way over priced. And not to mention the arm, I would rather fasten my cart to the end of a stick. (No affense to anybody using that arm ;D)

Just put a Philips CD723 and JVC TD-W118 Twin cassette deck on Bidorbuy. If anyone here is interested they can take for the start prices (R450 and R350).
