So I've never had an AVR with room correction - but one day after having saved up, and I do pull the trigger, this will be a significant decider.

Can anyone thus please either point me in the direction of a good summary resource, or break down for me what each of these room correction technologies, is and isn't.

I know Denon & Marantz run Audyssey - but how many levels/versions of Audyssey are there? What are they?
Are any of them must-have vs the others not being worthwhile?

Obviously Onkyo runs AccuEQ and Yamaha runs YPAO.
Again, how many levels/versions of these are there?
Are there ones that aren't worth it, while others are next-level and a real benifit?
Importantly, how do AccuEQ and YAPO compare to Audyssey?
(Audyssey seems like the industry leader? That is, before you get into AVRs that run Diracc - which I doubt I'll be able to afford, as I'll be looking at AVR's for sub-R10k second hand, and preferably toward R7k).

I have a modest 3.1 Monitor Audio setup (BR6 floorstanders, RX-C centre, ASW100 sub-woofer).

Thanks for the wisdom  :notworthy:
