OK, so I know this is a really open question, the variety is wide, let's try to narrow it down:
PC is to be "GP", i.e. not dedicated to a specific purpose. I am not a gamer. Board <= R 1.5k
1. I need to be able to buy this online (e.g. from Prophecy etc.);
2. Support for Core i3/5/7 (intend using a mid-range Core i5 with Intel HD video)
3. Support for USB 3.0 and at least 2x SATA 6 Gb/s ports, 2x SATA 3 Gb/s ports
4. On-board graphics acceptable as a start.
5. Four memory slots (intend starting out with 4GB)
Anything from Intel that fits the bill? Others? (Gigabyte/Asus?)
