I was recently gifted a Roland DPX-3300 pen plotter. My original plan was to modify it by installing a laser. However, I would first like to explore it in its original role. I have been searching for drivers that would allow me to use it. It works on HPGL protocol. My recollection from way back when, you could generate the plot file in a CAD package, then just copy or write the file to the printer port "LPT1". But it is all a vague memory now. Anyone able to give me a refresher? How would one do it today? I'm hoping to use a Win10 environment.
