I am hosting workshop for a special client who bought an octal phono kit a while back. Today is day 1, and tomorrow we finish the job and try it out on his Mars 6V6GT UL PP kit amplifier.
Here we are busy mounting the power transformer
Power supply layout being discussed
The DCR of the power transformer is just below the minimum of 150 ohms specified in the Sylvania tube manual.
So the 47 ohm resistors are placed in series with the PT secondary anode supply.
Job done
PSU done and connectors and earth rail next
