Not sure if this is the appropriate section of the forum. I am trying to use my Samsung A50 as source for playback of some digital AV media files. It's not working though. Whenever I connect it to either my smart TV, or BDP (both Samsung) with USB, it asks whether I grant access to the files on the phone, I agree, and then nothing. Even if I play something, like music, nothing. There does not seem to be any connection between the phone and whatever device I link it to. I tried the C-type to HDMI converter, but that's also not a compatible feature. I am able to use the smart view option via the TV, but the quality is not that good. Does anyone know if there is a particular setting on the phone's menu that I should change, or whether this phone simply can't do it. My Google research has come up with one or two suggestions that don't seem to apply to the phone either..
