Speaking of Stax ... unashamedly audiophilly but absolutely stunning on Stax ... a super tight performance beautifully captured.  These are the guys behind the Holly Cole Trio.

Well, you have to be extremely aware of your audience to have that album art.

London Grammar is a fantastic band with an incredible singer. I admittedly wept a bit listening on new e-stats. (I'm writing something about Stax which I will post soon. It's not a review. I suck at reviews.)

Nice one!  I believe you are quite smitten by the SRS-2170 ... incredibly capable rig that!

I've wanted electrostatic headphones (or are they earspeakers?) since I studied at Cape Audio College in like 2006. It's been a journey literally that long in the making.

I am definitely, utterly smitten. Definitely worth the hype (and very few things are.)

Overall great album that I wouldn't mind owning on vinyl. "Novocaine" especially, is one of the most holographic recordings I have ever heard.

A Stax favourite is our Amber - Binaural and EStats are a sublime combo.
I have this in DSD128 - highly recommended.
