I had a request to do a quick workshop last weekend. I had a chassis in stock, and accepted to do it on Sunday and Monday.
I rolled the transformers
Sunday we start to mount the insides...
At the end of Monday
At the end of the third day (Wednesday)
Ready to switch on. The B+ rises to 415DCV after settling down. This is through a 5V4 rectifier!
The tubes are measuring 380V from Anode to Cathode and running 40mA each.
