Not quite off the sidewalk, Rodney but I couldn't resist these. I mainly wanted the tuner as my Leak Troughline needs a rest and the Grundig tuner is stereo with more facilities.
So, I cleaned the tuner and the amp, retouched the vandalised tuner's faceplate, replaced all illumination, re-stringed the tuner's two scales, cleaned every single pot and switch and made new indicators as there was nothing (kak job) and then put put them on the boere variac for a day or so. Afterwards, I made up some din to din and din to rca i/c's to incase I wanted to try the tuner with another amp.
Verdict: Both has a right channel out
On the amp, I need to go and see Communica or Mantech incase some new caps can to the trick but where to start with the tuner?
