I'm pretty new to posting on the forum. I just made my introductory post too
I've been into headphones for years and lost count of the number of low to mid range Sennheisers I've had!
I'm looking for a AMP/DAC that will match well with my HD6XX and/or LCD2F.
I have a CTH+SDAC and I've been rolling tubes with it and it sounds pretty good. I think I've found a tube I prefer. And I also have an AR M2 DAP, that sounds amazing and is has got a crazy amount of grunt. I am still amazed how powerful this little thing is.
I'm thinking about trying something a bit different and was wondering how the ifi micro iDSD Black Label would compare to the CTH. Anyone done a comparison? Then there is the Drop THX 789 that has allot of positive buzz about it too but exchange rate is tad off-putting right now.
I'd appreciate fellow head-fiers opinions.
