I recently added two upholstered chairs to my listening room and today added three rather large upholstered ottomans (compliments of Wetherlys as compensation for sitting on my cash for 8 weeks and doing nothing). Been listening to music the last few hours and I could swear the bass response in the room is a lot better than it ordinarily is (my IB's inactive, waiting for the Crown amp). Is it plausible that having all this upholstered furniture in the room would appreciably improve its bass response?
