I'm fixing a NAD 6040A tape deck for a client, (though my forte is turntable repairs).
The transport mechanism needs help. I can get into it by trial and error, but would prefer to have a manual at hand. Does anyone have a service manual for the NAD 6040A. If you do, does it have a section on the mechanism? I already looked in the library at Hi-fi Engine, there is not a manual for this unit there.
Any help would be much appreciated.
