Here's an easy/cool recipe  :dop:

BATTER
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups of flour
1 cup of water
3 heaped teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
(I make half this mix for 2 ,good results  :thumbs:)

Ssnoek or a firm white-flesh fish of your choice

Wife loves me long time (Now on er plate)

I make snoek often... hubby loves it.

But mine is far more simple...

Flat in the oven, basted with sweet chilly sauce (or woolworths peppadew chutney), olive oil and an abundance of woolworths rosemary and sage grind.

12-15 minutes on high heat in the convection/grill surrounded by oven veg (frozen is cool too)  .... AND DONE.

Ps: also, I have not deep fried ANYTHING in my life... Iíll eat it sure.. but wonít make it. Decided years ago that limiting it to restaurants meals/take out and my momís vetkoek might just save my life in the long run.  Because frankly, I could probably live on things to the likes of samoosas, slap chips & vetkoek.
