Not trying to be funny, but the largest medical scheme (note how the name has changed over the years from "aid" to "scheme" & draw your own inferences...) in the country is of the opinion that a hearing aid is cosmetic. As is reconstructive dentistry after a motorcycle accident.

So I doubt they will be concerned enough to worry about sleep Apnea.

i get my cpap & accessories paid for by discovery?
even the battery back up for load shedding & travel.
given the number of people i know with cpap machines i have to wonder if it is largely exacerbated by poor air quality / pollution in sa.

Our family died of sleep apnea a few years back... went to conference - didn't wake up the next morning.
