Today I gave it a full overhaul by dismantling it down to the last bit and cleaning each piece with care. In my opinion these "vintage" SME arms are truly superb! Excellent build and fine instruments.
I dont have the correct headshell for it but the Optonica's fit nicely. Or at least looks good. Made a quick arm-board for the Technics to test it. Sounds like a SME should.
