I?m counting my chickens before they hatch but let?s see how it goes. At $13, I couldn?t resist the Aurasound 4? aluminium cone drivers. Now I see they are out of stock (I?m not surprised). Luckily JimGore placed the order in time. 8)

Anyway, I thought some people might need a laugh so I have decided to document the build.

The aim is to make a reasonably nice sounding pair of powered speakers while keeping the cost and effort down. I would like to demonstrate a spirit of spontaneity and insanity. I also hope to encourage those like me whose work is nowhere near as good as that of other members of this forum. We've gotta start somewhere.  :)

Not wanting to spend too much money, I decided to go for the $5.85 Sinar Baja tweeters.

I?ll most likely be using a relatively large (10 liter) sealed enclosure keeping the Qtc and Fb low. Then I?ll use active filtering to tweak the response.
