Got to love this reply!

"I have actually started to magnetically suspend my speaker cables in a vacuum chamber. Itís the closest I can simulate the perfect conditions of outer space.

You should hear them cables, you canít cause the speakers are in a vacuum and also youíd die, but you should. They are glorious!"

I think he is onto something.  Snake oil and all.  Make one wonders if it is about the system or the music.  I guess if this is a hobby to flash your cash it is more about the system than the exploration of the wonderful sound and colorful artists that is out there.
I love music,  I love my system.  Been going at it for a long time with this forum as a guide and also with a lot off commonsense.

Don't knock it until you have tried it. I put my cables in a vacuum and the results are stunning. Important to make sure the vacuum is off otherwise you wont hear the music and it's also better to do it after the housework has been done and the vacuum is not needed in a different room.

I have got a perfect solution to all your cable problems.

Go and get a plastic leakproof box.

Make an entry and exit hole tight around the cables and fill it with snake oil, then seal it.

You will NEVER hear a better set of cables...           :sd:

Could not afford snake oil, so used some Total 0W-40 synthetic.   Sounded a bit brittle to me
