Hi all!

If you could please lend me your advice, I'm trying to set up an vinyl system, as I just came into a bunch of LPs.
:notworthy:
But I've only ever ventured into home theatre and cans till now...
:help:

I currently have a (time limited! :whip:) opportunity to buy a fully refurbished Kenwood KP-1022 for R1500.
The seller noticed that the needle needs replacing, and may try to do so.
But if the whole cartridge needs to be replaced, it seems there's a Rega Carbon cartridge available too (unsure of price).
And am thinking to pair it with a Groovcore miniphono 3 phonostage for an extra R750.

So my questions are:

Is the equipment decent quality?

Well priced?

Will it last a good long while?

Is it easy & inexpensive to service?

Is the sound quality well decent for entry-level?
Please help get a newbie's feet wet in the vast warm water of the vinyl ocean!
Million thanks
