Hello Francois,
I am at present listening to the Zingalis on the Sugden. This is what I hear.
The treble is very detailed YET not shrill. On Alison Moyet's "Almost Blue " , if I listen quite loudly, there is a touch of sibilance on the Tannoys, but on the Zingalis just clean treble. I can only describe as "clean but all there" treble. Detail, like a horn, but "smoothed" somehow. Bass is good but not as intrusive as the Tannoys. But because I am a bit of a bass junkie, I don't mind the Tannoys bass. I could easily live with these speakers. Very nice.
I am listening to my playlist which include some very specific bass lines, and the more they play, the more full the bass gets. Wow, for a fairly small bookshelf, they are amazing. I don't think that one needs more than a Sugden amp, a good source and these speakers to put you in the "Audiophile" category, certainly more musical than we heard at the Giya demo we both attended. Probably better than some Rmillion systems I heard.
