Hi All!

Thanks for allowing us onto your forum and for the huge contribution to the SA audio industry. Thought I'd post a message on who we are and some background.

I started out around 1992 while I was still at Wits Tech, studying electrical engineering, building big old mosfet power amps and selling them to clubs, bars, restaurants, DJ's and anyone who would listen to them. Some guys heard about us that were opening a new nightclub in 1996 called E.S.P. We ended up supplying them with all their sound and the club grew as did we. We ended up supplying most JHB clubs at the time. Truth in Midrand, The Barron group, Rhapsodys, Standard Bank, FNB conference rooms and many more. We rented out and built big pro audio systems. We even threw our own events, Origin rave with 10 international DJ's, 150KW RMS sound system indoors! Which was more than ZZ Top used at the time and they where outdoors. It was nuts but we had fun and loved it all.

In 2002, Ultra Sound & Vision was opened. More and more people were looking for residential systems from us and we decided to open a store in Fourways. Specialising in high-end audio and custom built home theatre. Music has always been our passion but over the years tech and systems began to change and we began doing networking and more automated and easier to use systems. We are now certified Control4 Diamond Dealers and build fully automated homes too. We have very good relationship's with some amazing people in the industry, locally and internationally. We continue to build lasting relationships with customers, importers and suppliers we deal with as we go.

We have always believed in building the best systems possible. Most of the time a well calibrated, matched system sounds far superior to just throwing money at the problem. To demonstrate this we now have six listening rooms setup in our Fourways showroom.

You are all welcome to pop in for a listen any time!

Welcome to the Forum.
Im sure many of us have already dealt with your company, me being one of them.

Look forward to the offerings USV will add to the forum.
Listening put on hold for a while, but end game reached. Couldnt be happier with my system. Next will be new room tweaks.
