My daughter  had this portable radio which she decorated with Barbie stickers . It fell some time in its short life and the CD stopped working. Actually the whole thing stopped working and was "packed" in the karakas (without the "r") cupboard. It was still there on Sunday when I repacked and threw some of that  :cr@p: away...

SO, dad needed to want a headphone amp and thought about this little portable for a few seconds.

I hacked the living daylights out of it - well kind of.

And it works! Even has volume control

2W per channel. Will put the 220V supply back later today.

Sound quality... well there is sound. Its got some background noise  :flame: when no music is playing but its tolerable as you don't hear it over awesome music. It plays music excessively loud though :groovy: So loud that I don't need the cans on my head to listen to the music  :O0: Guys in the office can now also listen to good music  :Whoohoo:

Fun 2 hours of playing  :2thumbs:

Maybe I should get one of those REALLY cheap bluetooth audio streamers...  :dop:
