Pity .That EMT 948 broadcast turntable system is flat-out the biggest bargain to ever appear on this forum. Hope must be nuts.Deleted all for pedantic nonsense. I thought this forum was NOT about the classifieds but all this batschiite rules prove otherwise.

See the rules for posting ads at https://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,82259.msg947964.html#msg947964. The idea is that the viewer should not have to either go into the ad or have to google to find out what the item is. Even in the ad you don't state what they are. And some serious advice here - post pictures.

Usually it's the headfi guys that post a string of letters and numbers in the sale topics....  :sh1tstirrer:

Quote
Format for adverts:
1. The subject line must clearly state what you are selling and in this order. Start with the type of item you are selling (i.e. Speakers, or Complete system, or Amplifier, etc) Then the brand (i.e. Mission, or Sansui, or B&W, or DIY) Last, the model number (i.e. MX4 or AU-111) Example - Integrated amplifier: Nad 310

2. In the body of your advert the following must appear first.
Price:
Location:
Condition:
Shipping:

3. Description. Here you give more detail about what you are selling and anything else you would like to say about your item, specs, reviews, links, etc.

4. Picture. Pictures are not compulsory, but it is preferred you post one.  It must state if it is the actual item, or if it is a picture from the Internet.

Feeler adverts are not allowed.

For clarity's sake because we get a lot of adverts not conforming to the below:

Your advert must clearly state what you are selling in the Subject Topic, or it will be deleted without notice.
What are you selling? Speakers? Amplifier? Turntable? CD?, etc... must be clearly stated in your sales heading or topic.

This post will be deleted again after 24 hours, please be explicit with what you are selling.

It really is not difficult to follow the rules. Yes,there were some (justifiable) complaints about the sloppy wording.

Hammertone Gray or Cream 301? Grease bearing or Bush spindle?

A pic is worth a thousand words.

I suggest starting from scratch. Follow required format and include a picture or two and we'll all enjoy the process. :mates:

Another suggestion - only list one item per post in the case of larger items (such as these).

And there is not point to add the EMT to the new listing if it has been sold, right?
