What’s the objective?

For your learning? You want cables ?
Or just for fun?

Cheapest:

5mm TV co-ax and nickel-plated RCA plugs that have flimsy red or black screw-on covers
Better - 6mm double shielded TV co-ax or RG59 cable with faux-gold plugs which have a spring strain-relief and red or black stripes
Better still - the stuff that Hi-Phibian makes

Having said that, there is a supplier at the Cape Town Airport Industria who sells components for amplified musical instruments.  He has some superb stuff, brand names and not really expensive, especially the RCA plugs and co-ax
They are called Stage Audio Works

I think it means show-n-tell your DIY.  Especially show.

What worked for me was to consult Hi-Phibian to do the diy work, whatever your budget.  :2thumbs:

So no show 'n' tell.
Seems the head-fi people are more into it.  Even on ASR.
