Laser TV

TV scene is really getting interesting. See DionWired  is advertising a 4K laser TV by Hisense, (of all makes!) Comes as a bundle with an 80" screen. Not exactly cheap though at R 50k. , for that kind of money, I should think you can get a really decent normal TV or dedicated 4K projector.
I saw Sputnik, well... actually the booster rocket that went into orbit with it!!

I think it's misleading for Hisense to call it a TV when it's a projector.
Would be nice to get some input from someone who has seen it in action.

This product line has been out for some time. It's quite innovative, if not particularly good as a TV. As zer0 pointed out, it's a short throw laser projector, so easy on and off, no having to swap the bulb and bright enough to use in a reasonably lit room.

OK... So like two weeks later and the Hisense laser TV has dropped in price by R 10k, from R 50k to R 40k!
