Ceilings - check.
Smooth walls - check.
Light fittings - check.
Smart intervention - check.

Some light sanding in a couple key areas, and bond coat being applied today. At last feeling like a room and not a building site.

By the close of the week it will be all done and ready for carpets.

Stand still in production, and will be a for a couple weeks I expect.

So far, so good!

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

I look forward to the "AVForums Opening Special" when it's finished. Hopefully all 9014 forum members will fit in the room...

Yup... looks like it will be ready in about two weeks, at least the room without treatments will be.

Super excited!

Cornices and wall lamps went on today, and the walls are ready for paint tomorrow!

Final shots of a naked room before the bright red carpet and white skirtings go in tomorrow.

I don’t think I will be leaving this room too often...

Really looking excellent! If I may ask, what is the light fittings mounted next to the window that gives the blue light ? Presume it's LED, and multi-colored.
I saw Sputnik, well... actually the booster rocket that went into orbit with it!!
