Don't anyone on this forum enjoy a good brandy then? Had two tastings at Van Ryn's recently and was really impressed. Maybe very few whisk(e)y drinkers - at least not those who prefer peaty over sweaty - would enjoy brandy, but as for me, I enjoy both. Not "young" brandies, but properly aged ones. And especially potstill. There's a lot out there I still need to taste, but the Van Ryn's does it for me. Quite a few years ago my winemaker SIL presented my with a bottle of Backsberg's Sydney Back 10 YO and it proved to be really enjoyable. Started to open my eyes for good brandy, having already started to see the light as far as whisky is concerned after my first bottle of 12 YO Glenfiddich.

Come on people, surely there are brandy aficionados amongst you?
