Ok, so I have a pair of Dynaudio 17w75XL 8 ohm drivers that have been lying on a shelf for years. One of the drivers is making a scratching/rattling sound when played moderately loudlyhence the reason why they are just lying there staring at me.
I have in the past found out that Dynaudio would replace both drivers at a cost of about R4k if I recall correctly. That is a bit steep. Does anyone have experience with these drivers or is there a repair specialist that could repair them without ruining what makes them special in the first place?
