Recently installed a pair of Magnepan MG30.7's for a client.
After listening; two areas were defined that needed upgrade:
1) The Plinius Tautora Pre. Top of the line from Plinius going back some 10 years.
2) Speaker cable and Interconnects. Client were using the Straight Wire Cresendo spkr cable and Interconnects.
We decided to go with a ARC REF 40th Anniversary Pre(pre used unit to replace the Tautora)
And the Shunyata Sigma Speaker cables with Jumpers between the TM and Bass panels of the Maggies; and interconnects.
Took me a few hours to rearrange the equipment and installed the tubes for the ARC.
Then the painstaking task to setup the Maggie's in the correct position for the room and seating arrangement.
I left around 4PM and the client got home around 6PM.
Immediately switched the system ON and started listening.
So was this upgrade worth its cost....
I got a single line WhatsApp at around 10PM last night:
"Goeie f#k Ben"
That said it all....Good enough for me[emoji4][emoji39]

Digital: Emm Labs DAC 2X; OPPO Drive. Streaming PC and PLINIUS CD player

Shunyata Triton/Typhon filter system. Shunyata Sigma Spkr cables and interconnects. Combination of Anaconda and Alpha power cables.
