Am I the only one that wants a covered HP stand?
I have an aversion to dust & as my headphones do not see much use they tend to get covered in dust, so much so that I put them back in their original box after every use! Of course living on the highveld exacerbates the problem.
I'm looking at having a custom HP stand made:
Wooden base with wooden upright & curved carrier atop. Space for cable & plugs on the wooden base. Smoked perspex cover to fit into a recess that is in the base to protect from dust.
It may be bulky because of the perspex cover, but can be customised for a single or even a row of 4 or 5 or more headphones. The cover would then be rather large to remove though, so maybe do 3 units in one as a max?
Would anybody be interested in these? I'm seeing my "make it guy" over the weekend & the perspex manufacturer on Monday to ascertain costs.
