I have this friend who lives in Nagoya in Japan who is a translator for Canon.  He has "recently discovered" hi-fi and as it usual with converts, has become an evangelist to the cause.  He belongs to the Audio Club Hibiki who are very active and well represented by some very clever DIY guys and inventors

He is 100% into computer audio and streaming and being in a fairly small house (his listening room is 4.2m x 3.5m) has to keep the equipment all together

His most recent acquisition, made by his club is a pure silver USB lead.  Prior to using this, he had a Furutech cable which cost the equivalent of R3200,00.  This silver cable he says cost him (the equivalent of) R 900,00.  Much more detail and sparkle in the music and at the club they call it "togetherness".  They have a lady who assembles these using Litz twisted pair 0.6mm solid silver with PFTE insulation and gold USB A and B type plugs.

Hopefully I will be getting one soon
