Hi All,

Any advice for deciding on a 2nd subwoofer for my home theatre?

I've got a MA BXW10 Subwoofer and would like to experiment with a 2nd subwoofer.

I was hoping to pick up another BXW10 but they seem to as scarce as hens teeth.

I'm running MA BX5, BX centre, BXFX and BXW10 sub on a Denon x2200. Room is about 4.3x4, walled on 3 sides - the 3rd side opening into a larger sitting room.

Initially I thought I'd go with a matching pair of MA subs but after some reading it seems it's not that necessary running 2 subwoofer of the same make and model?

Any advice on choosing a sub that would work with my setup? What budget should I look at (Considering the equipment I have)?

A slight upgrade would not be amiss if the budget is OK, and for that matter should I even bother with a 2nd sub?

I've put in a lot of effort lately experimenting with my speaker placement and had some good improvements.

Thanks,
Org.
