so all the guys into portable music ie "music on the go" or basically "Hi-Fi in your pocket" ..... have you seen the Dragonfly Cobalt .... it certainly looks interesting - it uses the ESS sabre ES9038Q2M DAC chip and it features the jitterbug circuitry onboard and uses a different filter from the red and black models

it is also MQA compatible if that floats your boat so you can use it with the tidal MQA stuff if you have something like UAPP installed on your phone ..... and IMHO one of these could make most phones work as pretty acceptable DAPs if you have decent software to interface it with .... but this could provide some decent sound quality for your phone and its pretty small as well so definitely in the "Hi-Fi in your pocket" category

to me the only downside is the price but if you don't want to carry two devices around ie a phone as well as a DAP then maybe this one is your easy solution and it works with apple too  ;)
