Granite plinths build
« on: June 24, 2019, 04:01:35 PM »
I have 2 granite slabs that I can have cut to make plinths for my components. I am thinking of putting the plinths on spikes. Has anyone done this and how can I install spike on the slab. Iím not DIY capable so this may sound like childís playtime most of you. Should I just drill holes on the slab or is there some advice on how to do this

Glue them on using a 2-part epoxy.

To subsequently remove them, you strike the join with a chisel and hammer.  The epoxy becomes brittle after a few weeks
