There is a watch and clock repairer adjacent to a locksmith shop I used to own, and still look after their IT

The owner had a stroke in December and the staff proved useless in maintaining the business and got lost with SARS, paying the rent and got served notice to vacate on 28th June.
The owner's only daughter is a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles and does not need the money from the shop

Still up for grabs is a Synology 2 bay NAS server, I think their cheapest model and it has two Seagate Ironwolf 6Tb drives inside.  It is configured with Synology Hybrid Raid

I have not used a NAS server, but it sound like a useful piece of kit.  There are 2 USB socket and a LAN socket at the back.  It has a value on the books of R9500 and I can get for about half

For people who use or are fimiliar with NAS servers, is this a resonable quality unit?  I think the guarantee on the drives has a way to go
