Damn. I grew up with Infinity. As a result I still love the look of oak . A loss to the industry indeed!

Please leave politics out of this, Manson was a sadistic loser who manipulated people into butchery and participated himself to what end? To start a race war in the US - despicable arsewipe of note.  Inspired many others of the same ilk who have plied and still ply their ‘charismatic’ trade worldwide with the same outcome - Death Cults/Sects/New Religious Movements.

true. yet i think there are many politicians who have killed, or been responsible for way more deaths than charlie ever thought of. charlie wanted to start a war. politicians have started too many of them to count. kind of puts a different perspective in my mind now.

Keith Chegwin R.I.P. Saturday mornings watching Swap Shop wherein he would do his damnedest to find someone willing to swap ten jigsaw puzzles for a Scalextric set.  Then ‘Cheggers Plays Pop’ with Kids competing to see who knew more about Marc Bolan or whoever the latest pop idol was.  Great TV presenter, had his share of problems and was a featured guest on ‘Extras’. My childhood dies week by week it seems.

...... My childhood dies week by week it seems.

I did not have the pleasure to see that gentleman - just replying to your above remark
          and identifying with it.

A precise and poignant remark, illustrating a feeling one increasingly has as years pile on.
     Well said!
